Cyclone Mocha after tearing apart two countries, Bangladesh and Myanmar seems to have subsumed. Devastating Myanmar, s Rakhine state toppling houses, trees, mobile towers etc clogging the streets with water consuming the lives of six injuring the rest. Though in Bangladesh it’s impact was limited rushing to vanish it was classified and categorised as level five cyclone with wind speed beyond two hundred and fifty kilometres in some parts. Low pressure in Bay of Bengal has hit the weather in some near around places with NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority) geared up to tackle any eventuality given the past experiences. It’s important to stay alert and cautious and not to panic under any situation as such types of cyclones generally weakens after making a landfill near coastal belts and regions. In my understanding, governments should work on a road map and blueprint aiding rescue and rehabilitation in the aftermath of such naturally occurring calamities wreaking havoc for us as we reel with the challenge of climate change which is very much coming and real.
