‘Dream On’ sung by Aerosmith will observe its 50 years soon. After its release, the song has witnessed popularity at its peak, where the song is featured in films, TV series, and ad commercials. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that using songs in popular media made the song a living legend. The song has again come into the mainstream with the recent trendy reels with the verses of Dream On depicting the scenes of “God of War” (a popular game).
The majority of reels are for fun, making the dark reality blend and presented in light humor making it relatable and funny at the same time. To my understanding, he is talking about himself, only he knows about himself, and no one else doesn’t have any idea about him. Moreover, it is not a brainer to conclude that it is we who are truly in our control, whether to work on something it is our decision, how much we have to work on that is again our decision, and therefore, the greatest weapon we will ever have is ourselves.

Later in this song, the singer has been again calling for singing and adds the possibility that whatever we will sing, will just be for today and maybe tomorrow we can die, adding the reality of uncertainty.
If we all are singers, this might be what we have all to do sing, not for our audience, but for ourselves, not because someone wants to listen but because you want to sing that is why you wanna sing. Maybe you wanna sing but the next moment can arrange a meeting between us and god. Therefore, appeals to mass to sing right now, if you are happy to sing, if you are sad sing because all things are temporary, the fact that you are a singer is permanent.
However, in reality, we aren’t all singers, I am a student, and you may be a fighter, Engineer, doctor, or any other thing. But all of us have one thing in common which is the one dream of building a business, changing our paths in life, or any other thing. For me, it is to become an I.A.S., and for that, I have to work my breath in and out giving my blood, sweat, and tears. Maybe I am not good enough, however, I will never know my potential, if I am not working on it. Whether I am happy I will study, or I am sad I will work, maybe my work quality isn’t in my control now, but quantity is. and I have to work on it, otherwise, god knows it is my last day to give my 100%, maybe tomorrow the good lord will take me away.
