I was thinking about this, In India most marriages are arranged marriages, that means one is going to marry a stranger, and yes indeed it is a very risky gamble and utter foolishness. And the girl always cries when she’s leaving for her in-laws house, from her parent’s house, that essentially means all her ties with her family, friends are going to be severed, and it is indeed painful, the separation from multiple people at once is really painful, it is maybe slightly equivalent to a mother losing all of her10 children at once, in a single day.
