Garmi on Sony Liv is mercurial and majestic for a plot line that is quite exemplary interims of background and content that is freshly pressed, punchy and pointed with Arvind Shukla lending his weight behind. Reminding of Gangs of Wasseypur and Mirzapur which too was raw and rustic, Garmi comes as a one which is more direct and distinct with characters playing it out swiftly than for exploring to leave their mark. Tigmanshu Dhulia has been brilliant with his template for a theme that is too sound and solid showcasing the runoffs of college politics where no one is to be ever trusted and believed as everybody likes to go by the trades of trick. Cracking the whip on contemporary rough shod politics becoming increasingly annoying, intriguing and depressing faltering on people’s hopes and expectations. Plaudits for Dhulia who has always flirted with getting out of his shoes taking out of box commercial projects striking nerves with audience even by not being big ticket hits…. An artist who thinks more by himself
