Election Commission endorsing Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena has pushed the Bhartiya Janta Party to a corner wanting to expand and extend its outreach in a state home to its parent organisation Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh. Shinde is far from being more accommodative than assertive in not allowing a level playing field to his BJP partner and Maharashtra’s deputy chief Devendra Fadanavis, second in command to the former. Fadanavis who, once was Maharashtra’s chief minister can contemplate it better with the BJP staring at wresting control of BMC from the Sena training all its guns on Uddhav for the 2019 misadventure eclipsing the traditional bond between the Hindutva siblings. For, BJP wouldn’t mind taking charge of the situation playing the Uddhav- Shinde fallout saga to its advantage only backfiring with the opposition Sena, NCP and Congress wholeheartedly pitching and raising their rank and cadre in an attempt to showcase the real numero uno in the state minus Devendra Fadanavis. Marathi manoos runs deep in the nerves and veins of common and ordinary for whom emotions are a treasure to be preserved. However, with Uddhav,s appeal and Pawar,s experience expect a tectonic turnaround in the politics of a state getting murkier and murkier day in and day out where everybody is a sinner wearing different layers of masks.
