Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi is still very much in control and command of the state,s politics given his deep understanding and appreciation of the grassroot committing himself towards building the party from the scratch BJP seems to be not getting no where falling and faltering for lack of a caste leader taking on the likes of Nitish and Laloo. Sidelining and pushing a leader to the oblivion has major consequences for a party wanting to ambitiously expand it’s political and electoral outreach. Modi wave being an exception the party hasn’t quite learnt it’s lessons wandering for a strategy building it’s house in order with many of its state unit leaders squabbling for ranks and privileges for a restive BJP confronting the chaos sounds more primary and fundamental at this stage. Certainly, Nitish Kumar would be watching the progress from the sidelines given his call for opposition unity for countering the Modi rath in 2024
