The year start and ends with enjoyable and memorable moments. For me especially this year was truly a blessing and merciful to the Almighty. This year I have done so many targets which I had planned and thought about doing. The targets which I set for this year include writing articles on social and political issues and intensity to be published on the internet or social media. While writing articles I realised the pain and sufferings of writers and journalists. It is not easy for those who are doing this work a profession with passion and compassion for society. Maybe in love with the soil of the motherland. Whenever I write articles about women’s pain and suffering. Somewhere it affects the mind very deeply and leads to stress.
After writing articles about social issues, behaviour with surrounding people gets completely changed and disturbed studies as well. Writing articles specifically about social issues is very hard, which is the harsh reality of our society. I have not been writing articles for a long period but in a short period I felt the troubles while writing articles. It is not easy for everyone to write articles on social issues maybe they could not express themselves. But those writing articles about themselves and personal experiences, I salute to them for having courageous and bravery for standing on their own feet and to aware the society from such crimes.
The beginning of 2022 was very painful to me due to online harassment to women and about Hijab row. I stopped reading the newspaper and kept distance from social media. The reason for stopping doing those activities which was the my daily routine since childhood. Those things were stressing me every second day and I don’t want to do anything. After six months I realised the things which I had stopped in mid-way that were my part of life. I always want to do something for the country. I choose to write articles and to raise my voice for oppressed communities and for injustices. In School time, I wrote many articles but no one was considered those articles. My first article was published on 28th September in an Urdu local newspaper. Then I found the website Youth Ki Awaaz where I started to publish articles. And by the Grace of Almighty my writing journey has started on 5th November, Saturday, 2022.
Now I am getting a great experience, knowledge and learning everything new after writing articles. With the pressure of studies and the intensity to write and publish. It’s a different kind of enjoyment and special moments whenever I get a response from the YKA team.
I also had a great moment that I wanted to share, when my article was rejected by someone. When he was rejected, he said to me that you need to improve a lot. Then he questioned what can you bring new? At that time, that question didn’t affect me that much. But after a certain time it’s annoying me to do something. Later, I started writing articles with observation and information.
I believe everyone has the potential to do something. The ones who always get taunts for doing nothing, they only can change things completely. No need to prove yourselves to others, just prove yourself that you are able to set your goal and change them into reality.
