“Don’t stop me, make Delhi safe!” who knew such words would stir up Mr. Tarun Mathur and would lead to forming one of the best NGOs in Delhi?
Hamari Pahchan, a non-profit organisation was established in 2015 in the aftermath of the horrendous Nirbhaya incident. Its founder Mr. Tarun Mathur shaped the organization in order to make Delhi a safer place to live and thrive in. Since then, the organisation has devoted itself to people in need.
With its vision to help everyone create their own identity, Hamari Pahchan seeks a world full of hope, tolerance, and equity, where there is no poverty and everyone lives with dignity and security. Hamari Pahchan aims to eliminate social evils like hunger, illiteracy, period poverty and strives to promote education, menstrual health awareness, elderly well-being, and many more.
Projects like the Drishti Project (Educating Children), Sukhad Project (Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene), Skill Development (Providing employment opportunities to the underprivileged), and initiatives like COVID-19 aid, have proved immensely beneficial to a lot of people.
Hamari Pahchan works with a will to elevate people’s lives, fulfill their dreams and push the Atma Nirbharta initiative to new heights.
