Why India Has Less Percentage Of Students Who Pursue Higher Education?
The major reason for less percentage of a higher education in India is high fee structure at Universities level, professional education and for technical education. When I report in my campus about higher education whether students will pursue higher education or not. Many were given, ‘no answer, when I began to know the reason, the common reason was higher education has a very high fee structure even in common courses. And parents will not allow further education. Another reason is because they have a plan of marriage after intermediate education. And other students said that now we are getting education and that is enough. After that, sit at home comfortably and enjoy life.
Many less students are passionate about getting high education. And many of them belong to middle class families and they don’t know when parents will marry them. They have a fear of marriage.
