About Hamari Pahchan NGO –

I am Nooriya and am an intern in Hamari Pahchan NGO. As I attended the orientation conducted by this NGO; I came to know one thing that they are doing a fantastic and commendable work towards the social welfare. This NGO is very trustworthy and one can donate money here for a good cause without any doubt as this NGO completely works towards the social welfare of society without any breach or wrongdoing.

Hamari Pahchan, is a Delhi based NGO that puts forth a platform to aid the marginalized of our society. They provide a variety of opportunities to the underprivileged people so that they can create their own Pahchan (identity).

Their focus spans over multiple areas like education, menstrual health awareness, unemployment and hunger.

Since its inception in 2015, they have helped educate 11250+ children, help 2000+ women with employment opportunities, distributed 10,000+ menstrual hygiene kits and 1500+ corona kits.

Their relentless efforts have helped them in becoming one of the best NGOs in Delhi. Their projects like the Drishti Project (Educating Children), Sukhad Project (Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene for women, distribution of health kit), Skill Development (Providing employment opportunities to the underprivileged) and initiatives like COVID-19 aid, have proved immensely beneficial to a lot of people. Their team works with a will to elevate people’s lives, fulfil their dreams and make them self-reliant which will further accelerate national growth and push the Atma Nirbharta initiative to new heights.

About one of their project – Hunger

Poverty and hunger are some of the deep rooted issues that our society has been dealing with for quit some time now. In fact, approximately 190 million Indians go to bed hungry every day! In last year’s global hunger index, India ranked 101st out of the 116 countries, lower than before. The current scenario gives us little hope of improvement, in fact as per the studies we might as well slip amongst the worst performers with regard to food security. Hamari Pahchan has come up with an initiative to address this issue at the ground level. They have a dedicated team devoted to the hunger project, in order to make sure that no stomach goes to bed empty.

According to a report by the International Food Policy Research Institute, it has been predicted that the Food Production of India could drop by 16% as a consequence of which hunger may increase by 23% by the year 2023. Hence, we must do something right away!

Hamari Pahchan have been working for this cause relentlessly. They aspire to reach thier goal ‘complete eradication of hunger’ with your humble support. Contribute to donate, ration or meals to the unprivileged people who might need food right now.

No amount is big or small; it’s the contribution that matters! You can even donate for a one-time meal i.e. Rs.50/-
