Often when we talk about collection of movies where Indian cinema watch 100 crore of collection as a trophy and also life time collection. But if I say a film not in lifetime not even a day but just in 3 hours and 15 minutes crossed the collection of 100 crore. It’s unbelievable for sure yes, ‘Avatar – The way of water’ it’s collection was stared from the first day of release.
How this film would be turn out good or bad is a secondary thing first is how much money this will make. Actually the part 1 of Avatar was released on 2009 when ticket prices were not so expensive but then also it made a history in cinema by breaking the records of collection where ‘Marvel‘ even won’t be able to beat them while there is no need to tell what level of Marvel’s fan following. So this is crystal clear Avatar is the most watched and wanted movie of the years.
And again Avatar came back after long wait of 10 years and this time ticket prices are sky rocketing. And the wait is worth.
The budget of the movie-
Well the movie invested approx 3000 crore. And on the first day in India this movie made 40-45 crores. But surprisingly when we see the worldwide data of collection. Before releasing the movie Avtar has done few premiere shows in USA and international market which gave the output of 17 million dollars which means 120 crores of collection they made. Now the main part is the total collection of the movie in worldwide is between 124 million dollar to 130 million dollars which means between 1000 crore to 1200 crore INR. In short the earning of an hour is only 40-50 crore.
A true and unknown fact about the masterpiece-
The actors turned themselves into Avatars and lived underwater for 10 years to prepare for their roles honestly what a dedication. Today I watched this movie been waiting for long 13 years the first half of the movie was like blue planet BBC documentary and second half was at master level literally sobbing at James Cameron’s way of story telling. The raw emotions captured on the face of the characters and how well everything flowed with the environment was phenomenal. ” I need you with me.. You have strong heart” gosh the most heart wrenching scene of the movie which must broke down the audience and I don’t think we will ever get a film beautiful as this. In terms of visuals, CGI, Cinematography, Bgm, and emotions. Not to mention the story and the amazing actors.
Hats off to you James Cameron I’ll definitely rate this movie on my scale 10/10. It’s a must watch movie for real espically with family.
