Why I Am On A Mission To Make People Aware About Cyber Security

In the past two years, the rise of big-ticket ransomware attacks and the revelation of malware supply chain infections have elevated cybersecurity to the top of the government agenda. At the same time, corporate America and even the general public have awakened to a new set of digital dangers posed by nation-state actors and criminal organizations.

So it’s no surprise that two threads running through this year’s Aspen Cyber Summit were the complex nature of the cyber threats we face now and how they may differ from the challenges we’ve faced in the past.

So I, Peer Tehleel Manzoor, hailing from Kashmir, started a mission to raise awareness about cyber security and laws among people, I started awareness by writing Cyber security books and afterwards shifted to writing blogs / Articles on different Cyber crimes and Social Engineering Attacks.

In my opinion, people have heard about cyber security and its laws. Still, there is a need for mass awareness about the same “The internet is too often seen as a secure environment for sharing information, transacting and controlling the physical world, but cyber wars are already underway, and there is an urgent need to better prepare for it,” Cybercrime has been on the rise in India during Covid-19 Pandemic. There is a strong need to inform people about these things to make them smart internet users.

In addition to my five books on cybersecurity, i have also covered the topic comprehensively, and I am often seen at workshops, webinars, and conferences.

Books written by me include Secure Locker (Smart Activity Book), a Cyber Security Guide for Teens, Virtual Threat: The Little Book of Cyber Fraud, Unlimited Limits and Humans Reaction: The Key to Social Engineering Attacks.

I encourage people to have strong passwords or password managers and enable multi-factor authentication for sensitive accounts. “Strong passwords are an easy way to improve cyber security,

In 2021, I received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Gurugram Police Cyber Cell for the Cyber Security Awareness Program, a Certificate of Excellence from PWR CLUB (Hackershelp), a non-profit cyber awareness organization and another certificate from Hacktify Cyber security: A bug bounty platform company.

Cyber security has a good scope in any part of the world and one can also opt for a full-time career. Now there is a vibrant change among people regarding cyber security, and I want to continue it,

Cybersecurity is often not easy to explain because there are many aspects to it. Hackers can move from one server to another to cover their route and origin,” he said, adding that there is always room for further growth and there is a need for a concerted effort to work on this topic as the future belongs to the cyber and virtual world. Workshops and conferences should be held on the subject to create awareness among students, \
