Sheru photographer (SP): I’m Sheru, from Delhi, India. I’m a Portrait photographer and street photographer enthusiast and working as a Cinematographer, and filmmaker in the industry from the last 5 years. I’m coming from Old Delhi Street. I was born and brought on the street. I did my schooling by supporting Butterflies NGO, and currently, I’m a graduate of Delhi University. Also, I’m full-time work at Carrot films, and apart from this, I’m doing my photography business and doing work as a independent journalist on the multi-media platform such as Thetrendingpeople.com, Thelogicalindia.com and etc.

Parvati kurakula (PK): When, how, and why did you start clicking images?

Sheru photographer (SP): Honesty, I’m very passionate about my camera an interest in photography during my childhood or even in my school days. I developed my photography skills after Joined Carrot films as a cinematographer and photographer. I used to click BTS, Street images, and Portrait pictures on my phone but I always took it seriously. I used to click on what I see around us, just like a kid who got a new toy.

I joined the college in 2018. That day my whole life changed and took interest in the study and learning new things then I fall in love with college and the camera. I never had a good experience with the college but one of my Mentor Abhishek Halder told me everything regarding college and tough me a camera. I got a chance to go on a shoot then I start clicking pictures from my perspective. I travel to take pictures but to escape from college. I was in a low phase and I was fell very disappointed with myself that I do not understand this and those things. Then I started to love everything around me.

Parvati kurakula (PK): Most of your pictures are shot with a mobile. Is there any specific reason for it being that way?

Sheru Photographer (SP): I have been using Redmi devices for 3 years now. They keep putting good camera quality and features on their phones. So that’s why I kept upgrading every year to their ny ew redmi phone.

I have good experience using any DSLR or any other camera but I always try to shoot on my phone because it’s very convenient for me to take out the phone and shoot anywhere, anytime without any distractions. Till now, I haven’t thought about buying a camera. I’ll probably think about it once I get to experience and advanced skills, I wish to buy it with my earned money.

Parvati Kurakula (PK): Why come across single subjects in your photographs? Tell us more about it.

Sheru photographer (SP): I try to focus on a single subject while I shoot. I believe it’s easy to track the movement, and emotions of a single subject that’s why I’m doing this crazy thing. I’ve been doing it since the initial days. I’m trying to explore different styles now.
