For the Mainpuri Lok Sabha bye-election, the Samajwadi Party has included uncle Shivpal Yadav, who was astonishingly not observed during Dimple’s nomination. Now, behind making Shivpal a star campaigner Akhilesh appears to have prostrated or surrendered before his uncle.
He has now been openly calling Shivpal the SP leader. When the turn of Dimple’s election came, Akhilesh proceeded to do everything in praise of his uncle. The Mainpuri parliamentary poll is not being considered as easy for the SP. Just before making Shivpal a star campaigner, the BJP heightened Akhilesh’s problems by selecting two-time MP and one-time MLA Raghuraj Shakya from SP as its candidate.
It will be worth mentioning here that Raghuraj Shakya has been considered close to Shivpal Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav. And this might be a solid reason for sending uncle to resist the tough opponent in the electoral battle.
