Organic farming is one of the most important among many approaches to meet the objectives of the sustainable Agriculture Development .It aims to avoid Synthetic chemicals which has otherwise became rampant in the contemporary farming, thus results in hazardous impact on the health, economy and overall human development index. The consistent competitiveness of the market has pushed the farming lot into the morass of synthetic production of the agricultural products, which has not only reduced productive capacity of the soil but also the fertility at large as well. The system of organic farming is based on understanding the natures law and rules, it is cultivation of land by input of organic wastes, beneficial microbes in other words it is farming by giving life to the soil, the non-organic approach in the agricultural system came to meet the growing needs of demand and supply, however with the little institutional effort the damage which been the by-product of synthetic use could have been taken care of. Organic farming preserves soil health, sustains ecosystem and compliments human efforts for sustainable development. It is system of farming by converging science, innovation and tradition. In the times when man is running from pillar to the post, to recover the conditions of adversity of Non Organic Culture, system of Organic farming is the only Panacea. To promote the culture of organic farming, during last decade in India and other parts of the world, there has been a considerable focus on policy formulations. Many states of India like Skim, is on forefront to promote the culture of organic farming. In other states though agencies claim that farmers are practicing the organic farming, but the rate of expansion is very low.
