Opinion: Why No Political Party Wants The ‘Team B’ Label

Why do we more often hear of B team in the political domain? It looks safer manner to say so by criticising a political party. It is also a surreal and bizarre conception. It could presumably be best defined as a political expression. This status was barely articulated to be used with an experienced way of vilification for the most immediate political opponent.

Although the term has several meanings in diversified contexts yet its purely political usage remains widely unfolded among politicians’ conversations. It is wholly raised repeatedly during the time approaching the elections. However, it is not a better idea to let out such an inept portrayal. It can simply impress the political leaders spiritedly busy in summing up a diverse character.

That seems totally a burdensome analysis. Politicians feel that the label is somewhat fairly unmistakable and has a sort of concisely designed vision in its special connotation. On one hand, it appears as if nothing was noticed before, yet reasons are very familiar at times. Our politicians are addicted to this unusual characteristic that causes them highly hallucinatory fantasies, rage, strokes and dizziness.

Strangely enough, the blame of the B team is stocked not on a single not-so-prominent political party. Recently Aam Aadmi Party has been termed as the B Team of the ruling party in Gujarat. Congress feels no admonition in charging Owaisi’s AIMIM as the B Team of the BJP.  Mayawati’s BSP is also considered the B Team of the BJP. The list continues to expand and every party remains occupied in clearing the baseless fallacy.
