Sajid Khan was recently introduced as a contestant in the popular reality show Bigg Boss, that’s recently begun its new season: Season 16. There’s furore happening over his participation because Sajid Khan was named by 9 women from the industry during the #MeToo movement. There’s been complete silence from ColorsTV and Bigg Boss makers on the allegations so far.
“In case we’ve forgotten, #SajidKhan took his d*ck out in front of women regularly, actors journalists he didn’t care. Just a reminder before we start watching that damn show ‘just for entertainment yaar’. Expect better, demand better,” tweeted Sucharita Tyagi, a film critic.
This conversation is yet another reminder of how warped reality is. So many men, accused during the #MeToo movement, have been getting jobs and are back to their social lives after a brief hiatus. While the survivors bear the real brunt of naming their perpetrators and narrating their distressful experiences in the public domain.
