Not Only Rishi Sunak But Halima Yaqub And Irfan Ali Also Indians

Great Britain now gets a Prime Minister 42-year-old Rishi Sunak. It is also being said that his coming seems like the Barack Obama moment, where a non-white person becomes prime minister for the first time in the United Kingdom.

By the way, he happens to be a third prime minister in seven lengthy weeks, as explicit estimation hints. He becomes the UK’s first British Asian prime minister and the youngest in more than 200 years. Being formally appointed by King Charles III, his entry has been validated at 10, Downing Street in London.

There is no denying the practical fact Rishi Sunak has his ancestral roots in the Indian subcontinent. If his election has been hailed in a big way why did other names with a similar Indian origin not brought about in the country? Exactly Singapore president Halima Yakub and Guyana president Mohd Irfan Ali also have their lineage in India. There are a total of seven names who are linked with India at present.

It seems a power struggle ensues as the party weighs up a future where the cultural and political significance stays. Rishi Sunak inherits the grunting basket of troubles that proved too hefty for Liz Truss to withstand. The former Exchequer chancellor now leads a country in the grasp of a cost of living crisis, pledging hope amidst the grimness.

Polemically the contentious issues clasp Conservatives hard. Rising prices, grim public finances and a song tune of gabby Opposition look to be marring the situation at this point in a critical time. However, the choice has finally come to fulfil the party’s insatiable appetite for change. If it is not appearing a very much difficult task, will it instantly remain inconceivable?
