Hamari pahchan NGO is not only a organisation but an emotion, A NGO dedicated to uplift the underprivileged and provide them opportuanities to create their own pahchan. In India 2/3rd or 67% people are under poverty line who earn less than $2 a day,Most of these people live in mega-slums, made up of millions of corrugated ironworks,without sufficent drinking water supply, without any garbage disposal system and lack of electric power. These poor hygienic condition are the causes of several diseases such as cholera,typhoid and dysentery,In which especially children suffer and die.
Poverty in India impacts children, families and individuals in a variety of different ways through:
High infant mortality
Malnutrition
Child labour
Lack of education
Child marriage
HIV / AIDS
To resolve this expanding problem Mr. Tarun Mathur(A international chess player, Air India officer and founder of Hmari Pahchan Ngo) came up to resolve this problem, In 2015 Mr.Mathur established Hmari pahchan in 2015.

- Media Training program – Hmari pahchan Ngo provides training in digital media and marketing to the youth, which helps them in sustaining their livelihood and gain confidence of self sufficiency, so that they become well trained to make use of employment oppotuanities in the world. - Legal Education and Online certification programme – Lack of awareness among the people in the society about their legel rights is the reason behind the exploitation of underprivileged people in the society. Hmari pahchan ngo organises FREE legel awareness camps in the slums in order to eliminate this lack of awareness in the society. - Skill development programme – There are about 6343 slums in Delhi with more than 10 lakhs households. We at Hamari Pahchan are currently working in most of these slums and intend to cover as many slums as possible to improve the lives of people living in destitute. We are empowering the women to make them capable enough to earn their own bread through Hmari pahchan “Skill Development Project”.
