Dear Rishi,
Congratulations. I am writing you this letter because some of my Indian friends are discussing and debating on social media about your appointment as a Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK). Please read this letter till last.
Dear Rishi, I will not take your much time by going in detail as you must have busy schedule as a head of the British Government. So i will direct come to the point if you please allow me to do that.
If you really claim yourself that you are a Indian-origin person or a Hindu (as some of Indian media outlets and a section of people are claiming) then please tell to some of my fellow Indians that they should stop discriminating and hating a woman politician over her gender and Italian ethnicity who led United Progressive Alliance as the Chairperson from 2004 to 2014 in India (for more than 10 years) whose government successfully ran MGNREGS (a national rural employment guarantee scheme) which really helped the commoners of my village to get more employment opportunities which helped them to increase their financial status on ground.
And also please mention this fact and brutal reality of Indian society that she (a woman politician about which i am talking) faced hatred from many citizens of India because she belongs to a specific gender about which many of people in Indian society have prejudice that if a person’s gender is female then they are not capable to be a leader and they can’t lead successfully.
And also dear Rishi please acknowledge this that even being a colonisers for hundreds of years British people are ready to accept a person of colour who has origin outside Britain as the leader of their beloved country so the celebration of your appointment as the British Prime Minister is fine and positive step but also Indians should learn something constructive from British citizens on this british political matter.
