Veteran Congress leader Shashi Tharoor meeting Sonia Gandhi has set the political buzz of him considering to contest Presidential elections of Congress party. Will, it do any better for a party struggling and striving for expanding and extending it’s electoral footprints with Rahul Gandhi embarking on a Bharat Jodo yatra. Can, a Tharoor revive, rejuvenate and resurrect Congress in dire need of realignment and reconfiguration? Well, if a Tharoor can match this with his schemes and skills than surely he can be a contender but will his candidature find acceptance across the ranks and cadres of the party for his identity and popularity confined till his home state of Kerala. What, kind of major push and amendments Tharoor will inaugurate on being elected and for policies and proposals facelifting the grand old party ? I am yet to convince if Tharoor,s fascination for top title has anything to do with Rahul,s padyatra maybe he is smelling something bigger and better for himself in Congress,s chain of hierarchy? Tharoor is praiseworthy for his fantastic grasp and grip over the language and literature of English – pronounciation, oratory etc but these are not enough qualities and guarantees for sailing through the winds of politics which can sometimes become out of proportion. Mr Tharoor should keep all these thoughts in his head treading cautiously building the party organisation and structure from the scratch. Tharoor ji is gearing up with all his temperament and conviction igniting his political flair by all means and methods it’s great to see someone from the party displaying their urgency to revamp instilling pride and restoring dignity in the heads and hearts of Congressmen.
