In today’s modern age, all opportunities, facilities and opportunities for education are open. This has led to one getting a deep foothold in one sector or multiple sectors. Education also plays a major role in leading social change. The contribution of education is primary in creating values for society and strengthening social capitals, unity, tolerance, interdependence and friendship within the social fabric.
Education for all means providing education to the entire human race. Being literate is essential if we are to participate in this scientific age and meet its challenges. Both education and society are interrelated concepts. Education brings out the potential within the child and through education a knowledge-based society is created. Education is the best solution to various educational problems. Education transforms a person into a fully empowered person by imparting knowledge, skills, creating a new society, imparting culture, behavior etc. The progress of a society is seen as social mobility, social growth, upliftment, development, and education as the determining force of the society.
According to today’s global changes, UNESCO’s declaration of “Education for all” is applicable to any country and any society. As RS Peter notes; He said that education is a continuous black process based on many activities. Plato says; The benefit of education is that good people are formed. Not only that, they also get used to working in a good manner. As Rousseau notes; He says that education should be given to the child according to his abilities, needs and preferences. Education is the ordering and reorganizing of experiences. The learning experience is one of the most important. Education provides a learning experience. It helps the student to develop physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. A person’s participation in the learning experience can be seen in studies, studies, sports, participation in activities, participation in discussions, group work, etc. Mahatma Gandhi in his opinion about education said that education should be accomplished through education in all aspects of the highest potential of the individual.
It cannot be denied that education is essential to ensure deep thinking and broad knowledge in making our society fair and virtuous. Holistic education is the integration of body, mind and soul to bring out rational action. Education is for all of us the life support, helper and accessory of development. Education is the only foundation to make the society run as a just and honest society by driving away the turtles like indolence, lack, disability, ignorance and helplessness found in the society. Father Periyar said, ‘Education is to make a man of bare mind power.
Education is not about forcing anything new into our children’s brains but about removing the beliefs that have been imposed on them and making them independent thinkers. Education is the inculcation of the triad of liberty, equality and fraternity in our social structure. Education alone carries forward the task of removing individual human weakness and making individuals fit for the social fabric. It calms the mind and improves our life-enhancing qualities. Books are the only social food for the society to develop a humane social structure. We should propose a home library. Book reading should be transformed into a social breath. Only then will an intelligent society built on education emerge.
