Opinion: Why I Think Delhi Government Should Restore Yamuna ASAP

Steps should be taken by the Delhi Government at the earliest to restore the pride and dignity of River Yamuna which for most of the time remains polluted and flooded. At least, ambitious proposals and projects to develop the flood plains should be taken with a measure to provide relief and rescue to the inhabitants whose existence is but in jeopardy with hardly any source of income and livelihood wandering here and there for making their ends meet. Somebody will have bear their responsibility with utmost responsibility and regard in my understanding efforts will have to be taken for the timely redressal of this crisis wrecking havoc on innumerable volume of population. Experts should be the assigned the task of finalising a blueprint and roadmap for realising the objectives and goals by none other than Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for achieving the target by 2025. But, for that preparations should kick start by now developing and modernizing the river banks acting as a tourist spot and destination bringing revenues to the coffers of Delhi government otherwise this will be a lost occasion and opportunity for Kejriwal bringing to glory the revered and sacred Yamuna worshipped by almost everyone alike. Skipping this one can prove to be devastating and deterimental rather treading cautiously for fulfilling expectations and aspirations of common and ordinary of which AAP is a ringmaster and Kejriwal its chief anchor and architect
