No Matter What Your Journey Looks Like, You Should Own It!

We grow as individuals almost every second in our lives and that is not just subjected to developing physically it is much more than that. With each passing second, we are exploring and learning new things that may come on to our plate and we have to decide whether we want to taste it or not. There is so much uniqueness and contrast as to how each individual develops and moves forward in their journey that we can never weigh up who is better, who sacrificed more, who did the best.

We all are here to do our best only, it is just the way our situations coincide and determine the future ahead of us. While there is continuous learning and testing that goes along with us, there is endless pressure on us, the mental pressure, the lingering thought of failure and all of this becomes an important phase of our voyage. It is imperative to understand that in our respective path of life we are surely going to get some tough roads to cross, along with that some achievements which might make us feel the winner of the game already, but the reality is that we are not! There is no winner in this game of life, because sooner or later we start to realise that we all have different goals and different places to be at and it is completely fine to travel and explore this journey at your own pace.

All we should practice is to accept whichever path we are considering towards completing our journey or may be reaching our destinations. Owning to the hardships that we face at that time and having the gratitude for all those people who have been there with us throughout. These people made that travel of life a bit bearable for you, may be with just a text, or a call or asking you if you were fine. They can’t make that process easy but they surely can minimise the difficulties that are bothering you.

We all witnessed how beautifully Virat Kohli publicly thanked his wife, Anushka Sharma for being there with him while he battled the ups and downs of mental health. He not only accepted that he is not any different from all of us who are caught up in this race to be constantly better that the other person. He gracefully owned to his situations and thanked the person without whom this might have been a tragedy. The end goal is not to have any regrets as to how you started, you lived and ended your journey. It will always be surrounded with the unprecedented thoughts and situations which might derail us from our path but we should embrace everything that comes along because when you look back, you just want to be happy and satisfied with yourself.

The more we compare life situations and our excursion of life the more we would feel weak mentally and emotionally. There is a reason why we have distinctive personalities because we have separate goals and unique journeys to reach our respective destinations.

It is your journey and you should own it with full pride!
