Cine-loving viewers are waiting for the biopic of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, produced by Shyam Benegal. The much-awaited trailer of ‘Mujib,’ joint production of Bangladesh and India, was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday. However, there has been a mixed reaction among moviegoers since it came online.
Many praise the trailer of ‘Mujib’, while others criticise it. Some people are also talking about colour grading, prosthetics and VFX. Meanwhile, in the 90-second trailer, the general audience praises the cine look of several historical characters. Apart from Arifin Shuvo in the role of Bangabandhu’s name, the viewers appreciate the looks of several people.
The audience especially was fascinated by the look of the protagonist Riaz Ahmed who played the role of Tajuddin Ahmed. Tajuddin Ahmed is portrayed by the producer Riaz. Similarly, talented actor Raisul Islam Asad is getting praise. He has played the role of Maulana Bhasani. He has been seen several times in the trailer. Suddenly, if someone sees Raisul Islam Asad in Bhasani’s look, he will fall into conflict!

Since January 2020, 80 percent of ‘Mujib’ movies have been shot in several areas, including Dadasaheb Film City. Shyam Benegal, the casting director of the movie Shyam Rawat and a few others, came to Dhaka on November 16 to shoot the last part. They returned to India after finishing the rest of the shooting.
