777 Charlie is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language adventure which is also dubbed in Hindi and is in the theatres now. It’s a drama film written and directed by Kiranraj K, who is spectacular. It stars Charlie, a labrador dog as the titular character and Rakshit Shetty alongside Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait and Bobby Simha.

What a heartwarming, beautiful movie, with stunning visuals, great acting and a very gripping storyline. This movie is all heart. I had tears in my eyes the entire time. It will leave you with a roller coaster of emotions if you’re a dog lover and have fur babies of your own, you will go give them the tightest hug as soon as the movie ends, it will make u miss them so much.

Charlie is the protagonist, she’s a beautiful fun-loving, adorable Labrador who comes to a new neighbourhood in a truck unknowingly where she meets Dharma (Rakshit Shetty). Dharma is a loner and lives the same life every day. In a dirty house having cigarettes, and beer to sleep. He is a sociopath and doesn’t socialise at all, he has the reputation of a super tough guy, everyone and even the kids of the neighbourhood were scared of him. They used to call him “Hitler mama”.

This super tough guy meets little Charlie, She eats the leftovers of what Dharma throws and stays beside his house. Dharma initially did not like Charlie as he lived alone but slowly and steadily beautiful little Charlie creeps into his life. Charlie gets into an accident in Dharma’s neighbourhood and that’s when Dharma decides to keep her till she’s okay and up for adoption. In the meanwhile unknowingly Charlie becomes an essential part of Dharma’s life. Aren’t fur babies the cutest? Who can say no to them?

Then Charlie becomes sick and Dharma finds out that she has cancer and won’t live for long. He tries to do everything to cure her but couldn’t. Charlie loved snow a lot, she would jump watching the snow on his TV. So he decides to take her to Himachal to watch the snow and give her the best life possible before the illness takes her life. They have the best adventures together which will make your heart smile. You will laugh and cry along with them. It’s just so beautiful. Charlie even does a dog show. A beautiful little girl.

In the end, Charlie dies due to cancer in the snow in Dharma’s arms which will break your heart to pieces. I couldn’t stop sobbing. She leaves Dharma a kid, makes the super tough guy smile and cry, fills her life with happiness, and teaches him how to live. Gives him a will to live. He stops smoking and becomes a much better and happier person and later starts an NGO for rescue dogs and takes care of them. What a beautiful companionship between Dharma and little Charlie. This story will be etched in my heart forever.

This Story Touched My Heart As I’m A Big Dog Lover Myself

I got two little girls( a chihuahua and a pug) and I’m a happy dog mom. Can’t imagine my life without my furbabies. They have filled me with so much love, compassion, and empathy. Been there with me every single time. Every worry in the world disappears when I look at them wagging their tail at me with the most innocent eyes I’ve ever seen. They motivate me so much, I want to be better to provide them with the best life possible. My little girls deserve all the love in the world. There’s a dialogue in the movie “If you’re lucky a dog will come into your life and fill your heart with love” and I can’t relate to it more. Lucky are the ones who have dogs and have grown up with them. They make you a better human being and teach you all the good things in life.
