How Is Sonia Gandhi Planning To Solidify Congress Amid Challenges?

Sonia Gandhi appears to be upset at the unusual challenges standing before the party these days. Its loyal leaders are leaving the party, thereby endangering the party’s stability on bad days undoubtedly. Her endeavours to overcome the oddities within the party do not come to an end for all the time to come.  She expressed her views at the general body meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party held recently.

In the meantime, philosophical Rahul Gandhi finds no real solutions though his endeavours continue. He said: “This is the time to fight.” Quoting Ambedkar and Gandhi, he remarked,

“There is a path, but you need to tread on it. There is a way, but you need to tread that path.”

To further strengthen the grand Congress and its demand value, Sonia Gandhi has been making all-out attempts.

Presently, the Congress party is beset with desertions and defections. This incarnation, supposedly, has seeped into the party politicians who are regularly changing their allegiance to another political party around the political realm.

To further strengthen the grand Congress and its demand value, she has been making all-out attempts. In this aspect, she sends out an emotional message for absolute unity within the party.

Acknowledging that the outcomes of the Assembly elections of the five states have been both shocking and unbearable, she declared that she had received several credible suggestions to strengthen the party through interactions at the CWC and with other party colleagues.

She also made it clear that she had been truly working in the proper direction in this regard. Perturbed by the bad performance in the polls, she wanted to secure more hold upon the party standing in disarray.

Meanwhile, the assemblage of dissident Congress leaders known as G-23 has hurt her indeed. She moves toward them with a noticeable message.

The disgruntled group has been yearning for reforms within the party. This is as clear as their loyalty to the party.

She laid stress upon the need for cohesion, uttering that she was determined to ensure unity within the party fold under every circumstance. It is frustratingly a difficult burden for her who looks committed to infusing fresh oxygen to the party to get a lot of tangible results.

Her candid metrics represent a watershed moment for stirring fresh hope among the dissatisfied senior leaders.

The disappointment usually sets in after a simple question comes up, “How would they be handled nicely?” This happens to be a very reasonable qualm. It is particularly reasonable owing to landing from all those prominent as well as important leaders who are capable of understanding the party.
