Extremely excited about her party’s fight in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Priyanka Gandhi of the Indian National Congress, is on the edge of her seat on the ground, as various possibilities come to her head. Her party’s workers are following her directions and trying to fulfil her ambitions of a victory in UP.
Gandhi’s grand old party is contesting on as many as 400 seats in UP. She confessed that the Congress candidates are confidently attempting to win the elections. But, critics say that the party looks torn and shrunken, while it is relying upon the voters’ mercy.
The way she has generated a new hope among the people of her party remains unique. She has infused them with huge strength to strive for the Congress’s lost primacy in UP.
She has very categorically expressed that she will decide whether the Congress will lend its support to any other political party only after the results of the elections are obviously clear. It shows she is a tad bit confident of her party amassing an impressive number of seats.
A politician has to stay lucky if she wants to organise a scattered party, thereby making it a political force with a tremendous influence in the state. I believe that Gandhi has raised the party to such an extent that it now dreams of success in the UP polls.
She is here to acquire the lost honour and prestige of the Congress party in the state. Should she not be proud about the fact that she has pitched the idea of bringing in the maximum number of women candidates yet, in the seven-phased UP elections?
It always surprises everyone, including other party’s politicians, as to how she makes endeavours to restore the Congress party’s position.
