Schools In Kashmir Finally See Reopening Of Schools

2nd March is a memorable day for Kashmiri school students as they go back to class after two years. Schools in Kashmir Valley were abuzz as offline classes for students resumed in government and private schools on Wednesday after a gap of nearly two and half years.

On Wednesday morning, students dressed in uniforms and carrying vaccination certificates were seen thronging their institutions in Srinagar. Some students shared their thoughts on returning to school.

After a long hiatus due to the covid-19 pandemic and curbs on the 5th August 2019 decisions, the students reunited with friends, giving educational institutions a joyful ambience. There was merriment on the faces of the parents and onlookers alike as the return of students to schools filled the air with great fun and excitement.

The students were required to wear face masks, their body temperatures were checked with thermal scanners and sanitisers were applied on their hands as they entered the schools. The government on Sunday made wearing masks mandatory for the students coming to the educational institutions. Teachers and parents of students were also excited about school reopening.
