Can AAP Throw A Challenge To The Akali’s And Congress In Punjab?

kejriwal

An ambitious AAP is throwing a ring around its hat convincing and persuading the electorate for an alternative in Punjab rotating either between Akali’s and Congress after every 5 years.

Arvind Kejriwal.

A lot has changed after Captain Amarinder Singh’s resignation as Punjab Chief Minister with a Navjot Singh Sidhu potentially playing his critic and rival over controversial selections and appointments of tainted officials in the system.

Can a Charanjit Singh Channi act as a consensus builder on the contrasts, conflicts and contradictions ailing the direction and destiny of Congress in a state which has had a history of insurgency and militancy for over the years with a spate of incidents staring at the face of common and ordinary from sacrilege to blasts, the challenge is quite bigger for the incumbent stretching beyond his imagination?

Bringing it under control will be a task at hand best exploited by Kejriwal’s AAP, seeking to get a political office outside Delhi. In this regard, the electoral slideshow by Captain’s newly announced political outfit would be interesting to look out for a hung house testing his political capital and currency with a BJP contesting on all 117 assembly seats of the state.

The Akali Dal may have a few takeaways from its electoral understanding with BSP in the hinterlands as for a captain shaking hands with AAP or patching up with Congress depending on the seats by their sides. Till then, all assumptions, presumptions and postulations sound only hypothetical and not ideal
