An exposure visit was organized on 20th Dec 2021 under the aegis of Green-preneurship Promotion Project through Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Program of KGVK and Parivartan Program of HDFC Bank at Fish Farmer Training Centre, Dhurwa, Ranchi.
A group of fisheries entrepreneurs who took skill training in entrepreneurship development of pisciculture at KGVK participated in the program with (FRDP) Project Coordinator Mrs. Asha Rajendran and Thematic Expert Mr. Kumar Saurav, KGVK, Ranchi. The program was conducted with support provided by Smt. Seema Kujur, Chief Instructor, FFTC, Ranchi.
The program was addressed by Mrs. Swarnlata Madhu Lakra & Alka Kachhap, Fisheries extension officer, FFTC, where they provided a classroom cum interaction session with the participants and had briefed regarding ongoing skill training courses in fisheries and aquaculture among the participants at FFTC.
The main objectives of this exposure visit were explained by Mrs. Asha Rajendran on how a farmer can become a successful entrepreneur in the field of Pisciculture.
The visit was organized for the rural youth/farmers who want to establish their own enterprises in Fisheries and how they can be self-reliant while enhancing their knowledge in modern techniques in Fish Farming said by Thematic Expert Mr. Kumar Saurav, KGVK, Ranchi.
The program was concluded by Mr. Ashish Kr. Dy. Director, Retd, FFTC, Ranchi where he explained various schemes run by the state as well central government and had motivated the participants for availing the benefits by this govt. schemes and programs.
