कोनसा तारा किस मंज़र का क्या चाहता है।
It’s been years; still, this line gives me goosebumps. This eight-word sentence takes me to a different level of serenity.
Dear Tara,
I hope you are doing great with your Ved. As a fan, I want to thank you for the bliss you impart from your smile. That one crazy week in Corsica that helped you meet the partner of your life was never expected to be unfolded with just a wild kiss. Though I know it was difficult for you to leave Corsica, but you made me equally impatient by not asking the name of your Interpol ka afsar.
It’s always Delhi that has both pollution and love in the air. I don’t know how many books you read in Social or how long this Heer waited for her Ranjha, but you were for sure never a crazy stalker.
Atleast you were not like the desi Heroine who walked on glaring coal or danced to save her man. You just clutched his hand and took him to the place he belonged. The most beautiful thing you did was when you whispered “Tum koi aur ho” and pulled your Ved out from the infinity of black.
I loved to see you permuting from a kid in “Heer toh badi sad hai” to the strongest woman in “Agar tum saath ho” because you let Ved know his worth.
I fell more for you every time I saw you passing kisses to your man on his stage and equally thankful to your Ved for giving you a “Dandvat Pranam”.
Not being a movie buff, I seriously don’t care about the number of Blockbusters we had in this decade, but your Tamasha for sure lay hold the most pious corner in my soul. I never calculated the number of times I watched Tamasha, but I am very true about the fact that I can’t let go of this piece of extraordinary art in my entire life.
I pray your हर गम फिसल जाए।
Lots of Love
Tara’s Fan.
