Will The Samajwadi Perfume Change The Mood Of UP Voters?

Samajwadi Party politicians show off the newly-launched Samajwadi perfume.

I am speaking, of course, about the Samajwadi Party’s (SP) perfume which has brought it to the forefront, exclusively. It has allowed them to reach out to the common people of Uttar Pradesh and share it with them i.e. the voters.

Akhilesh Yadav has engaged in many unique strategies to reach out to the voters, the latest being the launch of a party perfume. Representational image. Photo credit: Akhilesh Yadav, Facebook.

The origins of perfume is commonly attributed to ancient Egyptians. They used scents in prayers and religious ceremonies, by burning essential oils, resin and perfumed unguents.

First, the oils and unguents were burned, as those were necessary to ensure divinities’ protection and benevolence. Whether it’s the Egyptians or the Persian physician Ibn-e-Sina, they would have never thought of a time when a political perfume would be launched.

We are still months away from the elections, but the essence of perfume will certainly clear the minds of those disturbed on account of vertical inflation.

It has been ably prepared in the well-known, perfume manufacturing city of Kannauj. The attention of the politicians has been pulled towards this new variety of aroma. This special perfume has been prepared by the SP’s Member of Legislative Council, Pushpraj Jain (urf Pampi Jain).

Jain said that as many as 22 natural perfumes, collected from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, have been mixed into the party’s perfume. He did not fail to mention that a fragrance of socialism could be felt by using this new perfume.

I honestly think it’s a great idea because of its killer value mixed with the use of inner competencies. Even though the original perfumes flourish, whirling around the air, SP’s perfume does not seem banal… or worse, funny.

Perfumes give a natural feeling. So, SP’s perfume felt perfectly right. Also, it spreads a good element. It is not some sort of fake, interactive item. The main characteristic happens to be the quality of the perfume.
