Quick Bytes: Why Is Nitish Kumar Looking Towards The Past?

nitish kumar

A throwback at Nitish Kumar’s governance from the year 2005 till now vividly illustrates how the Bihar Chief Minister in his capacity as an administrator, strategist, and leader has held up the case of the state beginning from prohibiting the sale and consumption of liquor to ensuring representation and participation of woman in local bodies but this sounds hollow every time he sits up drawing a comparison with Laloo Prasad Yadav’s tenure.

Laloo isn’t answerable and accountable to Nitish woes with his alliance partner- Bhartiya Janta Party in the state silently sidelining him from the margins after last year’s marvelous electoral presentation thus making sushasan babu anxious and unsure of his larger political ambitions and aspirations. It would be best if he could deliver on the loopholes and shortcomings becoming the visible highlights marring the prosperity and progress of the state be it the law and order, infrastructure, etc Bihar needs a revamp.

Apologies, but your arguments of Bihar being a landlocked state unfit for industrial production is equally shocking as for the state failing on crucial parameters and indices from hunger to health care. Who should be morally held responsible for it if not you Mr. Chief Minister as for the last few years you have been sleeping over it?

Why do we fair poorly when it comes to employment or for that matter limiting the migration of people to other states like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttrakhand for want of better livelihood and resources? Keep aside what Laloo did and what he didn’t at the first instance by focussing on the promises made to the population. Everybody is waiting to hear how would you enforce the implementation of saat nischay as for the formulation biting the dust for a while. Speak up for the queries and concerns of the common ordinary.
