AICTE has introduced The Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Award, Dr. Pritam Singh Best Teacher Award, Chhatra Vishwakarma Award and Clean and Smart Campus Award to identify and motivate extraordinary teachers, recognize their excellence, best practices, innovativeness and creativity among students and environmental sensitivity among institutions.
Union Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will confer these awards to the outstanding faculty members, innovative students & select institutes on 05 Sep 2021 at 4:00 PM at AICTE, New Delhi.
AICTE Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Award shall be conferred to 17 faculty members in Engineering and technology whereas 3 faculty members will be awarded Dr. Pritam Singh Best Teacher Award in management education.
AICTE- Chhatra Vishwakarma Award shall be awarded to 24 teams of students. Their prize winning models will also be exhibited at AICTE. The theme of the award this year was “India’s Economic Recovery Post COVID: Reverse migration and rehabilitation plan”.
Clean and Smart Campus award, 2020 will also be conferred upon 13 Technical Institutes. These institutions have displayed great concern and commitment for the environment and promoted activities aligned with sustainable, clean, and green environmental policy.
The award function shall also be streamed LIVE on 05 Sep 2021, 04:00 pm onward on AICTE YouTube channel accessible at https:/youtube.com/MediaAICTE.
