Technical Education Minister Dr. Subhash Garg interacts with AICTE Pragati scholarship win

# Students who received the AICTE Pragati scholarships expressed their thanks & gratitude to AICTE for changing their life and career forever

# Dr. Subhash Garg, the honorable minister for technical education, Rajasthan interacted with students selected under the AICTE Pragati scholarship scheme for girl students on September 27.

This scholarship scheme for girl students of degree and diploma courses for Tehnical Education is the brainchild of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Large number of scholarships, under this program, given to girl students of India, has played a crucial role in advancing technical education among girls in the nation. Thousands of girls have reaped the benefits of the AICTE Pragati scheme in recent years, and they are all grateful to AICTE for changing their lives and career forever.

For the year 2021, 295 students from Rajasthan received scholarships under the AICTE Pragati scheme, which includes 131 degree students and 164 diploma students.

During the event, Dr. Subhash Garg interacted with the students and he talked about the necessity of elevating the quality of technical education in the country. He also lauded AICTE for carrying out the AICTE Pragati scheme in an impeccable manner, because of which girl students in the nation are now getting a chance to fine-tune their technical skills.

“I am very much happy and grateful that AICTE invited me for this occasion. Girl students can do wonders in the technology sector if they are being provided proper chances. Students need fine-tuning to match up with international standards so that they can compete. AICTE Pragati scheme is a good initiative. It helps girl students to pursue their dreams even if they are financially backward” said Dr. Subhash Garg during the event.

AICTE chairman Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe said, “I would like to thank honorable minister Dr. Subhash Garg for interacting with girls who are part of the AICTE Pragati scholarship scheme. AICTE hopes to bring more girls to the technical forefront in future”

“The words of Dr. Subhash Garg will give that extra confidence to the girl students who are part of the AICTE Pragati scholarship scheme. The scholarship scheme has made the nation realize that untapped intelligence & brains of girl students in our country can bring revolutionary changes in the technology sector in the coming years,” said AICTE vice-chairman Prof. MP Poonia.

Ishika Jangid, a AICTE Pragati Diploma scholarship awardee from the Govt Poly Technic College Jhalawar said, “I thank AICTE for this scholarship. I hail from a very poor background, but the AICTE Pragati scholarship changed my life. I now have the opportunity to pursue my career in the field of technology.”

“Thank you AICTE. I feel very happy now. AICTE Pragati scholarship has provided me the chance & scope to pursue technical education,” said Ruchi Agarwal, a student at Govt Engineering College, Bharatpur who received a AICTE Pragati Degree scholarship.
