Perhaps, the most creative voices of our nation are suppressed, you know why?
As far as I know, I have found that most youngsters are either being pushed to tie a knot once they attain an age or go on a round-the-clock job that they detest the most. In the midst of all this, aren’t their visions in shambles?
When I Was Once Striving Hard To Understand My Passion
Ever since I started understanding the world around me, possibly when I was 15, I have had the fire within to follow something I would consider dearest to me. Alas, my self-brainstorming sessions would mostly result in vain for I have never had a concrete answer to what I wanted. In fact, my idea of taking up literature as my major was turned down by my father, for he never considered it equivalent to a professional degree.
Thus, the situation forced me to take the herd path, where I had to do my bachelor of engineering without my liking.
Criticisms Never Bogged Me Down
When I quit my job to find and pursue my passion in 2017 after two years of corporate experience, I had no idea where I was headed, let alone managing the barrage of criticism I received from my acquaintances for giving up a job that they considered a gem.
But only I could define what my gem is, right? Anyway, years rolled by. I even got married, but finally, I came up with the idea of blogging five years after my year of graduation.
Yay, I’ve Found My Calling
Thanks to the Covid-19 lockdown and the idea it gifted me with, I now run a blog called Sane Bites, where I post regarding the receding values in relationships, especially in marriage and relationships with in-laws. You are most welcome to hop in if you feel like 🙂
Hiccups And Discouragements Continue To Hamper Me, But I Will Fight Them Back
Though things have been going really well, I have always had the pressure from around me to do something worthwhile that will fetch me money every month.
I Strongly Believe Dreams Take Time To Surface
Could you at least tell me if it is possible for people to build empires right away? Wouldn’t things take their due course of time to even take shape? This is where I feel most aspirers get stuck in or even get lost in due tides of time, forgetting the dream that once excited them. But is that even fair?
Say you are building a sandcastle on a beach and someone purposefully disturbs your structure. Wouldn’t that upset you and your focus? This is what most parents, elders, and near and dear ones do to some passion-filled people in their lives. Knowingly or unknowingly, they end up manipulating the most creative and lucrative minds that are progressing to make something worthwhile and big in life. Don’t you think so?
But I am sure, I will never let someone crush my dreams and hopes like that. After all, shouldn’t we all fight them back?
Encourage Someone You Know Who Is Blazing With Dreams, It Will Mean A Lot To Them
I strongly feel that it is high time young minds are encouraged to follow their passion. By boosting them, shouldn’t we derive the most miraculous and value-enriched results to relish and learn from them?
