What strikes first to your mind if I say the word RESERVATION. I wouldn’t be surprise if Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar comes first.
But lemmie call a spade a spade that if there is one leader about whom most disinformation has been in our society , Netaji/Babasaheb would be definitely one.
(1)What if you’ve been told that there is a mass celebration in a community… ?_Think of it what could be the reason behind it … marriage, birthday party, grihapravesh, etc…But what if you’ve been told that the reason is that a child has passed the class IV for the first time in the whole community. We all are well familiar with anecdotes of untouchability happened with Him — i. (No peon, no water ) ii. ( sitting outside the class on a gunny bag that too was to bring himself) and so on.
(2)A community named Balais had to accept some bitter conditions ⏩ by Brahmins for living in the village ( in pic) For_More_Info (FMI) (3.) Just visualise of a person passing through a street with a ?_broom strung with waist & earthen pot hung around the neck (In Pic) FMI … that’s why reservation was must there to expel out such inferior thing. And it’s introduced for 10 years only but leaders just for the sake of vote bank made it continue.. There’s has been an incessant effort to disarticulate our Dalits sisters & brothers from our Hindu community first by Britons in 1872 through a caste census ( organized by Sir John Risley ) and later by left & Historians (Max Muller, Mortimer wheeler especially ).
4) Sonars too had gone through the same fate as they can’t say ?_ namaskar and wear dhoti with folds … And in all of thus unholy doings, there’s an involvement of Brahmins directly or indirectly.( In comment section) FMI… Numerous incidents had happened there But my agony is that how can Brahmins do that…Cuz by the real definition only Tyagi and Gyani can be a Brahmin… We’d Varna system … how’d they deviate to caste system and become so curt in behavior towards our them. He knew without reservation ,Dalits couldn’t live their life with dignity conferred in article 21. So reservation was a must ..
A friend of mine often discusses and say -ve things about Baba Ji and reservation but it’s not his problem cuz of so-called Chacha as PM ( first murder of democracy) & 5 Muslim HRD ministers in the first 30 years of so-called independence. Just as Jinnah’s demand for a seperate state for Muslim, likewise Babasaheb could have demanded on ground of minority and highhandedness & persecution by then upper castes but he didn’t as he’s a true nationalist and patriot. And there is certainly a case of reservation based on economic conditions, no doubt about it…but can you refute the fact that schedule castes in this country For the last 2000 years irrespective of their economic strata have been discriminated which have been worst kind of discrimination.
I’m pretty sure some of you may say why it’s being discussed now… Is it relevant today to our life… So I would like to say , if you have a share in your ancestor’s property…then you must have a share in your ancestor’s misdeed , the tyranny done by them.You just can’t have duplicity in sharing of ancestor’s Karma. This is only one aspect of it & don’t be unfamiliar with the fact that Mahatma Gandhi is not our father of nation …not a single word has been used in official documents... ( A POST ON BAPU has become requisite now in the view of 2nd of October ). So-called Chacha of our country even hadn’t taken BR in first cabinet … courtesy to Bapu’s insistence . There are still myriad aspects of this national hero which have remained untouch ( Désolé for that) but paucity of time has compelled me to make a period ( full stop ) here .
Ambedkar on addition of article 370 had said that he’s not a traitor , I’ll not do it. But Nehru…
So last but not the least – How can a person be a genius in multiple subjects ( Theology, Literature, Economics, Law,Islam, Hinduism, Communism, Science Foreign Policy, Journalism, Society, Education) and that too being an untouchable in early 20th century. Just Bow to this great ? of Bharat Mata ??
