COVID-19, due to the pandemic lockdown, has made a deep impact on worldwide work experiences. People have started working from home instead of in offices. Taking health as a priority and considering the education of students from various courses, the government decided to take classes online.
As an MBBS student, our classes were also taken online. Everybody started attending classes online, most of us using our own mobile. It had a great impact on not only our theoretical classes but also our exam patterns. There are no more practical classes. Clinical classes also have stopped.
Students started cheating not only on in-class tests but also in theoretical classes. Instead of brief questions, professors started taking MCQ based class tests which I don’t think is enough to gain proper knowledge. Practical classes, which are important for Anatomy and Biochemistry, have also stopped. Classes are ongoing, but we don’t know if it is enough for our further competitive exams.
Besides all this, we miss our gossips in the canteen, college boundaries, hostel rooms and of course our college functions.
But the good part of online classes is that we have spent a lot of time with our family members and we have started to do things we used to love.
