How Pehchaan The Street School Is Educating Economically Disadvantaged Children

We all have access to everything- internet, smartphone, television, everything, but believe me, there is a segment of our society that does not even have access to clean drinking water or electricity; you can look for it in your city you will find some areas that are disconnected from the world from modern appliances.

Access to education is critical in this difficult time, and this is where Pehchaan The Street School comes up with innovative solutions to assist these children in continuing their studies. Some people think some people speak but only a few are there who work on the ground.

Pehchaan The Street School is a 6-year-old NGO that is doing a great job of teaching unprivileged children for free. Their vision is to make education accessible and affordable to all. These guys are working during the pandemic as well. From holding donation drives for smartphones to providing study material to all the students, from pencils to other stationery to books and notebooks they have emerged as academic saviours for these children.

Everything is given by them. Children are taught by these people every weekend and in this pandemic, they have shifted their teaching to online mode and it was necessary because their students were lacking behind the world of competition.

They have centres in Indraprastha Metro station, Kirti Nagar, Paschim Vihar, Mayur Vihar, GTB Nagar, and Laxmi Nagar in Delhi. Other than these centres are in Noida and Dehradun too. They ask for donations of money, stationery items, chocolate, and, in today’s scenario, they are asking for useless smartphones too, which will be used by a child for their studies in online methods.

They are all over the internet, from Instagram to Twitter and Quora. You can contact them by calling +91-9711718972 or by visiting their website https://www.pehchaanstreetschool.org/
