It is 100% true that the pandemic has badly affected sectors like travel, entertainment (e.g. parties), medical, school, colleges, security forces, offices, universities, transport, etc. But it has taught us a very important lesson about being more hygienic. We have started adopting masks, gloves and sanitisers.
We are missing a lot of things — hanging out with friends, party with colleagues, travelling to different states. Thanks to technology (social media), we are still connected with our friends. Before the pandemic, it was impossible to imagine a life without shopping malls, cinemas, travel, outdoor gym, etc.
Working from home (as most of the companies are offering work from home jobs that are suitable for both employees and employers) was hard to believe. Right now, we are working online from home and managing outside things from home. We are more sensitive towards our hygiene and fitness, which is morally good.
The pandemic has widely changed our lifestyle in a short period. For example, before the pandemic, almost 30% of Indian’s were using sanitisers and wipes, but after the pandemic, 90% of people rely on sanitisers and other antiseptics.
The pandemic has taught us the following:
- Personal safety is the key to live a long and healthy life.
- Daily fitness workout does give you not only a good looking body but also boosts your immunity.
- The pandemic is a perfect time for pursuing one’s own hobby.
- Grandma’s Kaadhas work a lot.
- We are getting more time for our family.
