Drug Control General of India has approved the Covid-19 vaccines manufactured by Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech. But there is no end to the doubts and speculations tossed by political and social elites. Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party and Rashid Alvi of Congress believe that the centre is trying to misappropriate the credits for the delivery and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines to people across the country.
Jamaat-e-Islami believes that the vaccine contains harmful ingredients considered “haraam“(unlawful and unfit for consumption in Islam). They consider it permissible only during the unavailability of other vaccines.
The argument is why are they creating such a situation before the common man stoking fears and anxiety? What is its root cause if not for sustaining and shaping their political base and constituency? Why do they always play at the hands of the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party offering an edge in terms of safely proposing it’s rhetorics and populism enhancing its possibilities and prospects.
Can we please ask our opposition leaders what makes their politics fall in parts from representing the genuine aspirations, sentiments, faith and belief of the common and ordinary? How will the ordinary take and treat you as an alternative if for these off the cough remarks? Can we have some explanations and elaborations from the leaders inspiring and encouraging our wisdom as for their articulation and understanding of Politics? Words and vocabulary are an all-powerful instrument of assessing and evaluating people’s choices and decisions.
May better sense prevail.
