Poem: Her Caged Body

As the droplets drip from the overflowing cloud,
As the sunshine glare from the blazing sun,
As the leaves fall from the dancing tree,
All she did was falling from the sky.

Is she an angel?
Is she a demon?
Is she a human?
All she wants to do is fly.

Ever she thought about those droplets.
Ever she thought about the sunshine.
Ever she thought about those leaves.
All she thought was about her caged body.

Over the mountains, she flew.
Over the buildings, she pranced.
Over the forests, she galloped.
All she asked was to be free.

Under the ocean, she sprang.
Under the trees, she skipped.
Under the bridges, she ran.
All she said was, “Freedom.”

Who is she?

A bird.
