Why Is It Difficult To Meditate And Focus On The Present Moment?

What is meditation? Is it as difficult to meditate as we think it is? I think many of us have such types of queries. Am I right?

Before going to find answers to these questions, let me tell you some other key things. How can we know our strength and weakness? Only when we start analysing our self everyday and giving our body and mind some me time. We are, at some or the other, unconscious about what we do and what we think. This is only because of the lack of analysis of our work. It is because of the lack of analysis about what we are doing or what we are thinking.

We get easily attached to something, easily irritated to anything, and most of the time, get angry with small things. Why is this happening? This is because our mind is unstable. We are disturbed unknowingly and knowingly. What is the solution to this? The simple answer for this is: when will we be able to think unidirectionally, without being trapped in an ocean of thoughts.

Meditation can be done easily with constant practice.

Now, coming back to our first question: “What is meditation?” Meditation is about doing one’s work unidirectionally and mindfully, focusing on that particular moment only. This is, of course, not possible and practicable, not all of a sudden. But meditation can be done easily with constant practice. When we start applying ourselves, we find bliss in our work and develop a good personality.

I will surely say that meditation is the path to a happy and peaceful life. Meditation only requires concentration and practice.
