I remember that day of March 30, when a Hindi channel called TV9 Bharatvarsh was launched in India. I was very happy because Ajit Anjum was a consulting editor at the channel and I knew that he would practice journalism with impartiality in his familiar style. Leaders like Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, Munmun Sen had to run in the middle interview as they could not bear his questions.
At 7 pm, Ajit Anjum through his show ‘Rashtriya Bahas‘ raise issues which concerned the public.
As soon as he came on air, he would say “Namaskar aap dekh rahe hain TV9 Bharatvarsh aur mai hoon Ajit Anjum”(Greetings, you are watchingTV9 Bharatvarsh and I am and I am Ajit Anjum). It was just then when I would pay attention to the issue which Ajit Anjum would speak about. His questioning was done in a fair manner. his way of speaking and his tone especially were like a person from Bihar. He often held a pen in his hand while asking questions.
Then something happened which I did not even expect. One night suddenly the notification bell rang in my cellphone and I saw that Ajit Ji tweeted something. He tweeted, “Now I am free. My self-esteem was not letting me bear all the these”. Half an hour after this, he tweeted again saying, “Today I broke off from TV9 Bharatvarsh”, and I told myself TV9 Bharatvarsh has broken off from the public.
The reason why Ajit Anjum Left TV9 Bharatvarsh was because his channel could not handle him, and without asking him they reduced his show to half an hour. After that, Ajit Anjum went on a seven-day leave and resigned.
Now we will yearn for Ajit Ji’s voice, it seems that he will not be coming back to TV channels. Ajit can practice journalism in private on YouTube channels like Punya Prasoon Bajpai and Abhisar Sharma. But, I request Ajit Anjum to do anything but not let TV journalism die. I request him to join any channel but remain a TV journalist, because not everyone can connect to YouTube and many are used to seeing his face on TV, where he used to come armed with the truth.
Ajit Anjum Sahib, please keep your tone intact.

This message is just a means of communicating to the people how the stigma of journalism is being scammed under a process in India, how the fourth pillar of democracy is being uprooted and how the mirror of the country is being taken away. Now, the public is requested to take ‘Manjira’ in hand and shout “Jai Democracy.”
