Depression is a phenomenon that one can’t truly deceive. The suffering is internal, and it creates mental disturbances and mood disorder if it is hidden for a long period. The agony is more like physical pain. Mood disorder occurs when a person tends not to share their thoughts out of the fear of being judged. Some try to hide or indulge themselves in sadness and start feeling low, distancing themselves from family and friends. Others try to hide and adjust, keeping a mindset that everything will resolve with time and decide to run for a while from their problems.
A study shows that men suffering from mental health issues are more likely to end their lives. They have been raised with a mindset to be always strong, distancing themselves from emotional feelings, or they will be laughed at. Although people are concerned and ready to help, opening up to others is a bit difficult for people with mental health disorders. The ugly truth is that depressed people are still seized with the fear of being judged.
