India’s Aniket Dey picked for Sri Lanka’s National Awards for Science & Technology Achievements

The Sri Lanka Government has chosen India-based IT-professional Aniket Dey to bestow their National Awards for Science & Technology Achievements (NASTA Awards) 2019.

Sri Lanka Technology Awards, hosted by the Government of Sri Lanka, will felicitate the Indian techie with NASTA Awards 2019 for his excellent contribution in the field of Telecommunication and Computer Programming.

The NASTA has decided to award the Aniket Dey at the prestigious Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo, Sri Lanka, next month. He will be presented the award by the President of Sri Lanka Shri Maithripala Sirisena.

The NASTA made the official announcement of the results on Monday 24, June 2019. Dey will be the first Indian to receive the award from the Sri Lankan government.

Dey is a versed IT Professional & Professional Ethical Computing Expert and has achieved Telecommunication Awards previously. He has now been awarded the prestigious NASTA Awards 2019 by the National Science Foundation (NSF) of the Ministry of Science, Technology & Research, Government of Sri Lanka.

Techie Aniket will be awarded under the category of “Exceptional Technological Secrets & Inventions” which was introduced last year.

Dey said he feels honoured to have accepted the award and he is looking forward to receiving the award from the President of Sri Lanka, next month.
