My Dad, My Hero

The word ‘Dad’ signifies a role model, an ideal person, a kind of superhero for me. My dad has always played a crucial role in my emotional development, providing a roof over my head, thus wrapping me up in a cozy sense of security. He has encouraged me to study, play sports and pursue health development skills.

My dad has taught me patience, sacrifice, tolerance, reasoning, unconditional love, etc. He has been living honestly throughout his life, never compromising with his moral integrity. I always received the best moral education from my dad. My dad’s respectful behaviour has inspired everyone, from elders to youngsters.

He has been a true hero, a real-life superhero. He has worked hard for our family, paid for all our expenses, provided us with the solution to a lot of problems, and give us happiness and peace. Not a day goes by when he is not working tirelessly, with steely determination, with our best interests in his heart.

He has been my best friend. We discuss our problems with each other and try to solve them as best as we can, together. Whether it is watching movies, cricket, or going to the stadium and shouting ourselves hoarse, eating out at our favourite restaurants, the two of us do each and everything together as friends.

There isn’t a word in my dictionary, which is enough to describe my father’s positive contributions to my life and career. His entire life, he has given us everything he could, expecting nothing but love, and a bright future for us in return. I love you dear dad ??
