Walking towards the school, I saw a girl playing, enjoying, laughing. I felt so happy, but on the other hand, she reminded me of the girl I met a few days ago. I have seen a girl hesitating, stumbling, her hands shaking, voice getting numb, tears rolling down her eyes and fear in her heart. She needed a hand to hold, an ear just to hear her heart out and not to blame her for sharing the same. As it was not her fault. I have seen both the sides of the childhood. Trust me, the other side is the worst. I would not want any child to go through that. Working on preventing children from abuse is the need of the hour. We can’t expect our children to flourish or grow in an environment where they are at constant risk of getting bullied, harassed, abused, etc. This children’s day we conducted preventive workshops on child sexual abuse for children at MCD School, Karol Bagh Zone, MCD School, East Delhi
