#CanineCaravan : taking 9 Adopted dogs across 14000+ kilometers

Peepal Farm started with a simple understanding that physical pain is objectively bad. So for us, helping alleviate physical pain is an objective good, especially for those who can’t help themselves. We believe that every action for survival has a suffering footprint, especially any act of consumption. So, we believe in mindful consumption, and making our survival purposeful by doing good work, which for us is alleviating physical pain.

Reality is while trying to help animals with limited means,we often had to release animals that were cured back on the streets where we found them to make way for more seriously injured animal that were being brought in by our rescue team, tipped off by  locals and tourists on our rescue line.

We tried to find homes for them across the country ,raising funds for their travels if the adoptive parents were unable to bear the cost.A pattern soon emerged where international adoptions were soon overtaking our local dog adoptions,so we tried finding homes overseas by enlisting volunteers and tasking them with finding suitable loving homes, and we now have aa good news !

we are going on a #CanineCaravan where 9 desi dogs who have spent all their lives scrounging for food and have known no permanent home wandering the streets and treated like unwanted vermin have something beautiful in their lives, they have found homes, people willing to be their friends for life their own “forever homes”.

We are currently raising funds estimated cost is over Rs 3,00,000 with the paperwork and tickets for the dogs costing over 2 lakhs rupees .

while that may seem like a large amount of money how does one compare it to the pain and suffering that they have endured.
